I freely admit that I am not a teacher nor, if I’m honest, am I a particularly good demonstrator. I am very much hands on and find it difficult to explain what I’m about or how I’m achieving effects, and I also become so engrossed in the painting that I’m demonstrating that I often completely forget to talk altogether!

I was very small when I began to draw so I can’t remember when it all started. I do remember that as a little girl my bedroom walls were covered in my drawings of horses and animals and that I wrote my own stories and illustrated them - I still have some of them today. Read more…
